If you've properly loaded the magazine with gas and there's no movement or noise when you pull the trigger, other than the hammer dropping, you're likely missing your firing pin. This only happens when the item is dry-fired, which is why we advise against dry-firing in the instruction manual. If you do find that your firing pin is missing, search the KWA Store for the D-53 firing pin, which is seen as part 60 on M1911 diagrams.
